Growth Only Matters If You Can Maintain the Standards That Got You There in The First Place
That's a philosophy we've believed in since Ascona Group was founded in 2011, and it's one that's been recognised once again with seven finalist nominations in this year’s Forecourt Trader Awards.
This isn't the first time we've been recognised in the Forecourt Trader Awards. After celebrating seven finalists in 2024 and five in 2025, we're incredibly proud to have secured seven finalist nominations once again in 2026.
Widely regarded as the forecourt industry's most prestigious awards, they recognise excellence in retailing, customer service and operational standards.
For us, these nominations are about much more than trophies. They reflect the culture we've built since our beginnings and reinforce our belief that growth should never come at the expense of high standards.
As we've grown from a single forecourt into the UK's seventh largest independent fuel retailer, operating 70 roadside destinations across England, Wales and Scotland, we've remained focused on delivering exceptional customer experiences, investing in our people and maintaining operational excellence across every site.
This year's finalists are:
- Ascona Caersws (Mid Wales) – West Country & Wales (up to 4 million litres of fuel sales per year)
- Ascona Crossways (Pembrokeshire) – West Country & Wales (up to 4 million litres of fuel sales per year)
- Ascona Green Garage (Pembroke) – West Country & Wales (more than 4 million litres of fuel sales per year)
- Ascona Machynlleth Service Station (Mid Wales) – West Country & Wales (more than 4 million litres of fuel sales per year)
- Ascona Machynlleth Service Station – Best Forecourt Team
- Ascona Refinery Service Station – Scotland (up to 4 million litres of fuel sales per year)
- Ascona Refinery Service Station – Best Car Care & Lubricants Outlet
