Ascona Group is one of Wales fastest growing companies with its UK Head Office located in Pembrokeshire. A leading independent petrol forecourt operator ranked 7th in the UK Top Indies. We own, operate and directly manage service stations across England and Wales. We have exciting plans for the future with the development of our existing network as well as new sites joining our estate. We plan to own and operate 300 sites in the next 5 years. We have substantial number of KDRB’s in our portfolio and require a senior management operational board position to manage our CAPEX and OPEX.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Direct report to the MD and fellow board members.
  • Responsible for CAPEX and OPEX budgets across the entire portfolio estate.
  • Plan and coordinate projects from initial design through to planning and construction.
  • Site supervision and contract management.
  • Liaising with architects, contractors, local authorities and oil companies.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Promote and maintain health and safety at all times.
  • Maintain regular communication with board level members.
  • Represent the Company to the general public with regards to construction works.

 

Desirable personal skills, qualifications & qualities:

Forecourt background preferable but not mandatory.

  • Comfortable with pace, autonomy and entrepreneurial environment.
  • Suitable academic and professional qualification in line with this senior management position.
  • Forecourt background preferable but not mandatory.
  • Capability to manage local and national contractors.
  • Multisite experience.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Team player with a sense of humour!
